Are you looking for a counsellor or psychotherapist in Swansea? Welcome to my website. I offer safe, professional and confidential psychotherapy and counselling in Swansea. You will find a flavour of my approach here. I hope you find what you are looking for.
You may have been thinking about psychotherapy or counselling for a long time - or need support with a recent life crisis. The process of choosing a therapist can be quite a journey in itself. It can feel hard to figure out what to look for - how to get a sense of someone before contacting them - or how to check a therapist or counsellor actually has the experience and qualifications to help you. Whatever has brought you this far, I hope this site will give you enough useful information to help you move along your journey.
I am an accredited UKCP integrative psychotherapist, and a senior accredited member of the National Counselling Society. You can find me on both organisation websites, (please check this out through the links above) I am on two National Standards registers. I have worked in the fields of wellbeing and mental health for over twenty years. I have worked effectively with people who have a wide range of life problems and diagnosis including (for example) stress, anxiety, panic disorder, O.C.D, depression, self harm, body dysmorphia, dissociative identity disorder, eating disorders, post-traumatic conditions, personality adaptation and relationship difficulties.
My practice is centrally located in Swansea, within easy reach of Port Talbot, Carmarthen, Ammanford, Bridgend and Neath - I also offer psychotherapy in Bishopston, South Gower.
I hold full insurance and provide psychotherapy & counselling within the UKCP code of Ethics.
You are welcome to phone or email me to find out more about whether I can offer you the kind of help you are looking for. I believe there is no substitute for meeting up face to face. We will arrange initial meeting to decide whether we can work together successfully on the issues you want to explore or whether a referral elsewhere might be more appropriate.
